“Senior Homecare by Angels is a stellar Five Star organization. It is an organized and efficient company, operated by Owner/Manager Gerry Gatto, who is professional, accommodating and comfortable to work with.
We contacted Senior Homecare by Angels to provide additional care above that provided by the Seniors Facility our mother resides in.
Prior to our first meeting, through a few questions via telephone, Gerry Gatto assessed my mother’s needs and basics of her personality and paired her with a very suitable trained support person. The Caregiver is professional, very attentive, makes sure everything is done right and is a good liaison with facility staff. Our mother loves her caregiver and has had a good experience with cover off staff as well. The Caregivers are very well trained.
Unlike other services we have utilized, this organization is more flexible with how hours of care can be delivered. They are also the only organization we have found that provides a web portal Weekly Care Report, which outlines the daily care provided and provides a forum through which family members can ask questions or make requests. In addition, Gerry Gatto, the owner/Manager is very hands on and can be reached at any time. Billing is clear and prompt and clients have the option to pay via e-transfer which is an added convenience for us.

It is obvious that Dorothy was a perfect match for Heather. This is the first time in four years that Heather completed her Christmas holiday event with no serious issues. This is because of Dorothy’s professionalism in caring for someone she hardly knew.

Discovering Senior Care by Angels/Gerry Gatto was a life changing event for my Dad and me.
With the various health issues that Dad was experiencing, he needed someone to help him and to provide him companionship on a daily basis. I called Gerry at 7 am one morning as I was a bit desperate expecting voice mail but Gerry picked up. We met the next day and the day after he set us up with a wonderful caregiver with whom my father has become very attached to.
We have had a number of replacements when Dad’s primary caregiver has been on vacation.
All the caregivers are professional, kind, compassionate, appropriate nursing training/backgrounds and totally reliable. When my Dad had to go to emergency, the caregiver went to the hospital as well and Gerry was constantly in touch to provide updates until I was able to make it to the hospital. I highly, highly recommend this company!!

I recently used the services of Senior Homecare By Angels for my husband who is in a Seniors’ Community Centre on a dementia unit.
I visit my husband and provide “extra” care for him. I needed respite, and felt that he couldn’t go without those visits while I was away.

My parents have really enjoyed our experience with Senior Homecare by Angels. Late last year, my dad’s mobility deteriorated to the point where he couldn’t go on outings from home without help. Gerry came over and discussed options with us to allow my parents the opportunity to go shopping or to appointments with a qualified caregiver that was equipped to meet my dad’s needs. Since then, my parents have moved to a seniors care facility, but we still call on Gerry and his team for outings as they need them. Senior Homecare by Angels
In early October, 2017 I found myself in a difficult position requiring some help from a home
care organization. Prior to then I had never needed or required this kind of service, but a
compounding series of events involving recovery from a serious basement flood, home repairs
and my wife becoming very ill prompted me to seek some kind of home care support.
I simply used a telephone book, sought out home care listings and after reviewing a short list of
services I selected the subject organization whose office was located not far away from my
home. 1 knew nothing about Senior Homecare by Angels at that point in time.
As it turned out it was a great move on my part. They responded promptly to my phone call and
devised a care plan for my ailing wife following an interview. The plan was well thought out and
designed specifically for my situation to take care of all her needs such as shower assistance,
medication reminders, light housekeeping, laundry, errands, etc.
Within a couple of days a female care person arrived. I was highly impressed by everything she
did to help. In particular how she responded without much direction to solving problems
promptly without coaching.
I could not have been more pleased with the home care I received including the overseeing by
management as the operation continued. Everything was managed professionally including a
prompt rebate of the remaining deposit when my wife unexpectedly took a turn for the worse
and had to enter a hospital when it became necessary to receive morphine for the extreme
pain she developed.
I would recommend this organization without any reservations to anyone interested in receiving
professional, discreet, caring and relatively inexpensive and reliable home care assistance.
